You're Invited to the Best Turkey Trot in Town!
Calling all Carolina Forest residents, family & friends — join us for a fun-filled Thanksgiving tradition!
Before the feast, get your feet moving!
Run, walk, or wobble through the beautiful Plantation Lakes neighborhood and enjoy the crisp autumn air. This is one of the most affordable and family-friendly Turkey Trots in town — let’s make it a true community celebration!
Train hard, run fast, and earn your blanket & medal!

- Location: Plantation Lakes Community, Carolina Forest Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC
- Date: Thanksgiving Day
- Start Times:
- 8:45 AM – 5K Run/Walk
- 9:00 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration
- Race Day: Register at the Start/Finish area near the Amenity Center.
- Packet Pickup:
- Wednesday, Nov. 27: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Amenity Center)
- Race Day: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM (Amenity Center)
Parking
- Main parking is available at the Amenity Center.
- Overflow parking should use the left side of Shoreward Dr (just past Juxa Dr).
- Important: Do not block resident driveways and avoid parking on the shoulder of Juxa Dr or Wacobee Dr as these are part of the race route.
Start / Finish
The race begins and ends inside the Plantation Lakes Community.
