Event Overview

Join us for our 13th annual Run Sunset Beach of the BAM! Race Series in Sunset Beach North Carolina! BAM is short for #BigAssMedals and our finisher medals do not disappoint.

Location

Sunset Beach is a beautiful coastal island in SE North Carolina with:

• Waterfront Park: A stunning area to enjoy before and after your race.
• Shaded Golf Course Communities: A relaxing atmosphere to explore.
• Intracoastal Waterway Bridge: An incredible view that connects the island.
• Oceanfront Views: Unforgettable sights to enhance your race experience.

Race Events

We host a half marathon, 5K & 1 Mile in April when the average temperatures are:

• High: 67°F
• Low: 59°F
• Reputation: Sunset Beach is ranked one of the top beaches in the World by National Geographic!

Start Times

• Half Marathon: 6:45am
• 10K & 5K: 7:00am
• 1 Mile: 8:30am

Finisher Swag

Over the years we’ve had:

• Unique Medals: Includes surfboard, flip flop, glass, lockets, artistic connecting medals, and more.
• Themes: Pirate themes, mosaic designs, and more.
• Special Touch: We change it up each year to bring unique medals but this year might top them all.
• Note: You are registering for a "race experience": medals and t-shirts are for finishers only.
