2026 Loris "Chicken Run" Bog Off

Event Overview

This will be a 5K race event taking place in downtown Loris, SC and will be a part of the Chamber of Commerce Loris Bog Off Festival. This event is being brought to you by the Loris Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Horry County Parks and Recreation.

• Distance: 5K

Start Times

• Start Time: 8:00am
• Race Meeting Location: PLEASE MEET AT THE CORNER OF CASEY AND MEETING STREET FOR THE START OF THE RACE.

Parking

• Availability: Street and field parking on Meeting and Casey Street.
• Parking Pass: Parking passes will be included in packet pick up.

Packet Pick-Up and Late Registrations

• Packet Pick-Up: October 16th in the atrium of the Government and Justice Center (1301 Second Ave, Conway, SC 29526) from 9am-11am.
• Late Registration: On Saturday, October 18th at the corner of Casey and Meeting Street, Loris, SC, 29569 beginning at 7:00am. Look for the Horry County Parks and Recreation Tent!

Start and Finish

• Location: The start and finish lines will be at the corner of Casey and Meeting Street in Loris, SC 29569.

Awards

• Categories: Awards will be given for Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall (Must be present to receive award, no mailing of awards).
• Age Divisions: 0 to 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 Plus (Age group awards are based on net chip time).
• Employee Registration: Employees are $35 and will be reimbursed after completing the race!
