20th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot 5K

Come and work up your Thanksgiving appetite with a family friendly 5K and Kids' Dash! This is one of the largest races in the Myrtle Beach area! The race course is through the scenic Market Common region of Myrtle Beach, which was home to the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Runners and Walkers are all welcome!

Race Info:

• Animals: Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Service animals as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a service animal must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Wheeled Devices: Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Wheelchairs, mobility aids, etc. as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a recognized device must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Water Stops: No water stop on course.
• Race Timing: Gun timing for overall awards. Chip timing for age group awards. USATF Certified Course.

Race Swag:

• 5K Participant Shirt: Available while supplies last.
• Gobbler Dash Participant Shirt: Add-on option.
• Medals: 5K/Gobbler Dash Participant Medal.
• Race Bib: 5K/Gobbler Dash Race Bib.

Registration:

• Online Registration: Registration is only available online.
• Closing Time: Registration closes Thursday, November 26 at 6:00am.
• Gobbler Kids' Dash: Free but participants must register online.

Packet Pickup Information:

• Date and Time: Wednesday, November 25 from 4:00-7:00pm at TBA.
• Race Day Pickup: Thursday, November 26 from 6:45-7:45am at Grand Park Lake courtyard on Farrow Parkway.
• Important Note: If you do not attend packet pickup prior to race morning, you will NOT receive your t-shirt until after you complete the 5K race/Gobbler Dash. You will need to come back to the info tent to pick up your shirt. Only race bibs will be distributed prior to the race on race morning.

Parking:

• Parking Garage: Free parking in Farrow Parking Garage next to Nacho Hippo.
• Street Parking: Free parking along side streets in Market Common.

Restrooms:

• Location: Portos in the courtyard at Grand Park Lake.

Awards:

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place.
• Masters Awards: Overall Masters Male and Female 1 place.
• Age Group Awards: 1,2,3 place for various age groups from 0-10 up to 80 and up.
• No Awards: No awards for Gobbler Kids' Dash.

• MB Fire Cares: The MB Honor Guard is made from uniform personnel who chose to serve their fellow brothers and sisters by representing the Department and the City as Ambassadors of Goodwill.
