DESCRIPTION

Time to lace up those running shoes for some fast-paced fun with the Joplin Humane Society. Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for our 6th Annual Fast and the Furriest 5k & 1 Mile Walk to be held at the beautiful King Jack Park in Webb City. This event is for animal lovers and athletes alike! Event timing by Runaround and all experience levels are welcome.

CHOOSE  YOUR RACE: 

5K (3.1 miles) includes Finisher Medal, T-Shirt, and Race Bib. Race starts at 8:00am

Trophy by Division- Awards for the top 3 finishers over all, plus top 3 male/female in each age group: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, AND 60 plus.
No Duplicate Awards
 

1 Mile Fun Walk includes T-Shirt and Dog tag for the first 50 dogs. Fun walk starts at 9:30 am

Walk with or without your Leashed Canine Companion.
 

Virtual 5K (you choose when & where you run/walk) includes Finisher Medal that will be mailed to you the week following the race.
