Race Overview

Well, one of our local beloved trail races of over 20 plus years has been laid to rest but it's time to pick up the torch and replace it with another. All the same distances, on the same trails, and in our beloved Morgan Monroe State Forest.

Behold...... Run With The Squirrels (RWTS) ....Sunday April 25, 2027

Race Details

• Date: April 25, 2027
• Location: 6220 Forest Road, Martinsville, IN
• Distances: 5k, 10k, 10 mile, and half marathon.
• Aid Stations: There will be basic aid stations for the 10k, 10 miler, and 13.1 mile events.

Race Philosophy

• Cost: It will be very similar in the fact it is low cost and low frills.
• No Medals: No finisher medals, just the satisfaction that you did something amazing out in mother nature...WooHoo!
• T-Shirts: Race fee does not include a T shirt. This has been a request by numerous runners to decrease on waste.
• Logo Creation: This year’s race logo will be created by a Bloomington North art student, with a new logo each year for collectors.

Supporting Local Art

• Donation: Woohoo Trail Fun LLC will donate 50% of the proceeds from all shirt sales to the art program that helps design that year’s logo.
• Shirt Purchase: If you would like to purchase one you have the option to make it an add-on for $15.
• Deadline: You must add the shirt before APRIL 2nd.
• Limited Availability: There will be limited quantities on hand on race day.
