🏃‍♂️ Davis Labor Day Run

Make plans today to kick off your Labor Day with a run or walk at the 26th Annual Davis Labor Day Race! This event will be held on Monday, September 1 in Davis. We offer four races for this event: 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), a One Mile Run/Walk for all ages, and a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.

🎽 Race Highlights

Entry Includes: a finisher medal and post-race pancakes.
T-shirts: included with 5K, 10K, and One Mile entries: available for Kids Run entries for $5.
Timing: 5K, 10K, and One Mile entrants will be timed.
Awards: presented to overall winners and age group top finishers: special divisions in 5K and 10K.

📅 Race Information

Registration & Entry: Register Online. "Deal Days" (15% discount) until June 17, 2025.
Start Times: 8:00 a.m. - 10K, 8:05 a.m. - 5K, 8:10 a.m. - One Mile, 9:30 a.m. - Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.
Location: Downtown Davis, Central Park (Corner 3rd and C Street).
Bib Pick Up: Race morning only, beginning at 6:30 am: arrive one hour before your race start.

Course Details

Course Maps: Both the 5K & 10K routes take place primarily in South Davis: the One Mile route is Downtown.
Medals: Distributed to all finishers: awards for the top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers.
5K & 10K Age Groups: Available for various age brackets.
Special Divisions: Offered in 5K and 10K for various categories: only one entry per person.

🏅 One Mile Distance

The One Mile run or walk is perfect for families not quite ready for the 3.1 mile distance, runners looking for a quick race, walkers, children, and everyone in between. Awards to the top three finishers by gender plus in age groups of: Children: 8 and under, 9-12: Teens: 13-17: Adults 18-39: Masters 40-59: Seniors 60+.

❤️ Beneficiary

The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit organization that provides nutrition, exercise, and mindset programming tailored to the unique needs of those battling or recovering from cancer treatment. Donations to Cancer Champions enable the organization to provide survivors with expert guidance to complement traditional cancer treatment. Both Cancer Champions and A Change of Pace believe in the powerful benefits of exercise.
