Davis Labor Day Run

Event Overview

Make plans today to kick off your Labor Day with a run or walk at the 26th Annual Davis Labor Day Race! This event will be held on Monday, September 1 in Davis. We offer four races for this event: 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), a One Mile Run/Walk for all ages, and a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.

Entry Includes

• Finisher Medal: All participants receive a finisher medal.
• Post-Race Snacks: Enjoy pancakes after the race.
• T-Shirts: Included with 5K, 10K, and One Mile entries: available for purchase with Kids Run entries for $5.
• Awards: Timed races with awards for overall winners and age group top finishers.

Race Information

• Registration & Entry: Register Online. "Deal Days" (15% discount) will be offered through 11:59pm June 17, 2025.
• Start Times: 8:00 a.m. - 10K, 8:05 a.m. - 5K, 8:10 a.m. - One Mile, 9:30 a.m. - Kids Fun Run.
• Location: Downtown Davis, Central Park (Corner 3rd and C Street).
• Bib Pick Up: Race morning only, beginning at 6:30 am: arrive about one hour before your race start.

Course Details

• Course Maps: Both the 5K & 10K routes take place primarily in South Davis.
• One Mile Details: Takes place Downtown, suitable for families and participants of all ages.
• Medals: Finisher medals will be distributed to all finishers, with awards for top three in male, female, and nonbinary categories.
• Age Groups: 5K and 10K have various age groups, including 9 & Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, and so on.

Special Divisions

Special divisions in the 5K and 10K include: Adaptive Athlete, Cancer Survivor, College Student, Teacher/Educator/Education Support Staff, Sacramento County resident, Solano County resident, and Yolo County resident. Each person may enter only one special division.

Beneficiary

The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit organization supporting those battling or recovering from cancer treatment through specialized programming.

Parking

Available throughout downtown Davis, with no hourly parking enforcement on a holiday.
