Davis Labor Day Run

Event Overview

Make plans today to kick off your Labor Day with a run or walk at the 27th Annual Davis Labor Day Race! This event will be held on Monday, September 7 in Davis. We offer four races for this event: 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), a One Mile Run/Walk for all ages, and a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.

Entry Details

• Inclusions: Entry includes a finisher medal, access to free race pics, and post-race pancakes.
• T-shirts: T-shirts are included with 5K, 10K, and One Mile entries, and may be added on to Kids Run entries for $5.
• Timing: 5K, 10K, and One Mile entrants will be timed, with awards presented to overall winners and age group top finishers.
• Special Divisions: Special divisions are also offered in the 5K and 10K.

Race Information

• Registration & Entry: Register Online. Entry includes a Dri-Blend t-shirt, finisher medal, timing, and post-race refreshments.
• Start Times: Start times are as follows:
  8:00 a.m. - 10K
  8:05 a.m. - 5K
  8:10 a.m. - One Mile
  9:30 a.m. - Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run.
• Location: Downtown Davis, Central Park (Corner 3rd and C Street).
• Bib Pick Up: Race morning only, beginning at 6:30 am at the start/finish line. Arrive about one hour before your race start.

Course & Awards

• Course Maps: Both the 5K & 10K routes take place primarily in South Davis. The One Mile takes place Downtown.
• Medals: Finisher medals will be distributed to all finishers at the finish line, with additional awards for top finishers in various categories.
• Age Groups:
  • 5K: 9 & Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, ..., 70-79, 80-89, 90+
  • 10K: 9 & Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, ..., 70-79, 80+
• Special Divisions: Offered in the 5K and 10K are Adaptive Athlete, Cancer Survivor, College Student, Teacher/Educator, Sacramento County resident, Solano County resident, and Yolo County resident.

Additional Information

• One Mile Distance: Ideal for families, this run or walk is perfect for a quick race. Awards for top three finishers in several age groups.
• Beneficiary: The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit organization supporting those battling or recovering from cancer.
• Parking: Available throughout downtown Davis (no hourly parking enforcement on a holiday).
