Event Overview
Glory’s Garden Foundation is hosting the Glory 5K Walk/Run to rally Northeast Louisiana around families fighting through the NICU journey. In 2023 Glory Ann Strickland was born at 24 weeks and spent 308 days in the St. Francis and Childrens Hospital NICU. Her parents, family and friends understand no parent should face that lonely road alone.
Purpose of the Event
- Community Support: This event is more than a race: it’s a public show of love that raises critical support for medical expenses, travel, meals, and at home living expenses for NICU families.
- Goals: Our goal is to reach 1000 registrations so we could help 200 families.
- Collective Impact: When our community shows up together, we don’t just raise funds we raise hope, dignity, and relief in the moments families need it most.
