Race Description

• Event: DeLeon Springs State Park is hosting the 3rd annual DELEON DASH 5K Run, taking place inside and around the state park!
• Activities: Come run, walk, or jog through the woods, beside the spring pool, past the Old Sugar Mill, under the majestic oaks, and on the trails.
• Support: Your support and participation will help us protect our beautiful spring, our history, and the fascinating flora and fauna of Central Florida.
• Family Fun: Enjoy the spring pool, nature trail, wildlife, boat rentals, playground, eco-history boat tour, a make-your-own-pancakes experience, and more!

Entry Fees

• 02/07 – 06/30: $30
• 07/01 – 09/30: $40
• 10/01 – 11/08: $45
• Shirt Size: If you register after October 11, you might not receive your desired shirt size.

Registration

• Online Pre-Registration: Open through Friday, November 7th at midnight.
• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, November 7th, 4 - 7 PM at the Christian Family Worship Center at 265 Ponce DeLeon Blvd.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday, November 8, 6:15 - 7:20 AM at DeLeon Springs State Park.
• Race Start: Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 7:30 AM. Registration is capped at 250 entries.

After the Race

• Activities: Choose your activity post-race including swimming in the spring pool, walking on the nature trail, or renting a kayak.
• Pancakes: Make your own pancakes at the Old Sugar Mill (additional cost).
• Eco/History Tour: Participate in a tour for a fee.
• Note: Pets are not allowed at this event.

Race Swag

• T-Shirt: Beautiful and unique design.
• Medal: Finisher's medal for all participants.
• Awards: Custom awards for age groups and overall winners.
• Results: Chipped-timed race with searchable online results and downloadable pictures.

Food & Water

• Water Stops: Available on the race course and at the finish line.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Healthy snacks and complimentary mini pancakes from Old Sugar Mill Pancake House.

Parking

• Location: Parking is available inside the park.
• Arrival: Arrive before 7:00 AM for complimentary entrance to the state park.

Race Timing

• Timing: The race will be professionally timed by Runner's High Timing and Race Management.
• Race Bib: Wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.
• Results: Results will be posted at the race and online immediately following the race.
