About the Race

• Experience: DeLeon Springs State Park is hosting the 4th annual DELEON DASH 5K Run, taking place inside and around the state park!
• Join Us: Come run, walk, jog with us through the woods, beside the spring pool, past the Old Sugar Mill, under the majestic oaks, and on the trails!
• Impact: Your support and participation will help us protect our beautiful spring, our history, and the fascinating flora and fauna of Central Florida.
• Activities: Enjoy the spring pool, nature trail, wildlife, boat rentals, playground, eco-history boat tour, a make-your-own-pancakes experience, visitor center, stand up paddleboards, and more!

• 03/18 – 05/31: $35
• 06/01 – 07/31: $40
• 08/01 – 10/17: $45
• Note: We will run on sidewalks, paved roads, dirt roads, and unpaved trails.

Race Notice

• Registration: If you register after September 12, you might not receive your desired shirt size.
• No Pets: No pets or animals are allowed in the race.
• Entry Time: Enter the park by 7:00 AM to ensure your place in the race.
• Late Runners: No late racers are allowed to participate.

Registration

• Pre-Registration: Online Pre-Registration is open through Friday, October 16, at midnight.
• Packet Pickup: Early Packet Pickup and Late Registration on Friday, October 16, 4 - 6PM at 265 Ponce DeLeon Blvd.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 17, 6:15 - 7:00 AM at DeLeon Springs State Park.
• Race Start: 7:30 AM with registration capped at 300 entries.

Post-Race Activities

• Choose Activity: Jump into the spring pool for a swim.
• Nature Trail: Walk it out on the nature trail.
• Observation: Stroll on the dock to observe nature.
• Pancakes: Make your own pancakes at the Old Sugar Mill ($).

Race Swag

• T-Shirt: Beautiful/unique T-Shirt.
• Finisher's Medal: All finishers will receive a medal.
• Awards: Custom awards for age groups and overall.
• Timing: Chipped-timed race with searchable online results.

Food and Water

• Water Stops: There will be water stops with cups throughout the race course and at the finish line.
• Post-Race: Refreshments will include healthy snacks and complimentary mini pancakes from Old Sugar Mill Pancake House.
• Parking: Parking is available inside the park.
• Arrival: Arrive before 7:00 AM for complimentary entrance to the state park.

Race Timing

• Professional Timing: The race will be professionally timed at the start and finish.
• Electronic Tags: Timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number.
• Results: Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race.
• Wear Bib: Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.
