666 Event Description:

• Recognition: The Devils Chase 6.66 Mile Run is named to the Top Nine Costume Runs in the World.
• Participation: 98% of participants dress up in costume, primarily with a Devil theme.
• Landmarks: The scenic route features landmarks like Salem Common, Salem Witch Museum, and the House of Seven Gables.
• Unique Experience: Enjoy a fun atmosphere with runners passing each other, showcasing entertaining costumes.

333 Event Description:

• Costume Fun: Break out your creepy clown outfits for a unique 3.33 mile run.
• Historic Racing: Experience the historic streets of the Witch City.

Event Swag:

• Apparel: Cozy long sleeve t-shirts for in-person runners and t-shirts for virtual runners.
• Guarantee: Swag is guaranteed for pre-registered participants on or before 10/1.
• Finishing Medal: All participants receive a finisher medal.

You’ll have the opportunity to purchase additional Devils Chase & Creepy Clown merchandise during online checkout, packet pick-up, or post-race on race day. (Cash/check/credit/venmo)

• Shared Routes: The 666 and 333 share the same start and finish line.

Packet Pick-Up Options:

• Friday Pick-Up: October 16th, from 2-5PM at B&S Fitness Facility (GPS: 90 Leavitt St. Salem, MA).
• Race Day Pick-Up: Saturday, October 17th at race site from 6:30-8AM.

666 Award Details:

• Cash Prize: $150 Cash Prize to the Top Male & Female Devil for best costume.
• Finisher Awards: Overall Male/Female Finisher.
• Age Group Prizes: Top 3 M/F in each age group (Under 19 to 90+).
• Non-Binary Recognition: Top 3 Non-Binary awards.

Devil Costume Prize Requirement:

Must include horns, pitchfork, and a cape or tail for the 1st place M/F Cash Prizes!

333 Award Details:

• Finisher Awards: Overall Male/Female Finisher.
• Age Group Prizes: Top 3 M/F in each age group (Under 19 to 90+).
• Non-Binary Recognition: Top 3 Non-Binary awards.

Post Race Festivities:

Event Beneficiaries:

The Devils Chase supports a variety of organizations including the Salem Children’s Charity, the Fellowship Christian Academy, and the Salem Park & Recreation.

Parking:

Ample parking is available in and around the Willows area. Please note parking meters will not be active before the event starts. However, refrain from parking in front of houses or in restricted areas to avoid towing.

Accommodations:

Recommended hotels include Hawthorne Hotel, The Hotel Salem, and The Salem Waterfront Hotel. Book early as rooms will fill up fast.

Weather:

Races are held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed dangerous. No refunds will be issued if the race is canceled: we strive to establish a postponement date.

Race Refunds & Event Cancellations:

A FREE deferral and transfer policy is available until October 1st. A $10 fee will apply for refunds/deferrals after this date (without insurance). If the event is canceled due to safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances, efforts will be made to reschedule the event if possible.
