🔥 666 Event Description:

The Devils Chase 6.66 Mile Run, named to the Top Nine Costume Runs in the World, is the best and most unique event you will run in all year long. 98% of participants dress up in costume, majority Devil Theme costumes. People from all over the world venture to Historic Salem and join us for one Hell of a Good time. The Devils Chase attracts more than 1000 Devils donning their favorite horns with pitchforks in hand for a scenic 6.66 mile race past a variety of Salem’s well-known landmarks including the Salem Common, Salem Witch Museum, a Real Haunted House, the Custom House, Salem’s Derby Wharf, the House of Seven Gables and more. The course provides two sections of in and outs allowing runners to pass their fellow Devils and admire all of the unique and entertaining costumes. You’ll know you’re nearing the end of the race when you begin running through an eerie spooky foggy finish.

🎭 333 Event Description:

Break out your creepy clown outfits and join in the costume fun, the Saturday before Halloween, in Salem, MA for a unique 3.33 mile run through the historic streets of the Witch City.

🏅 Swag:

Cozy long sleeve t-shirts (in-person runners), t-shirt for virtual runners, to pre-registered participants on or before 10/1. Finisher medals to all participants.

You’ll have the opportunity to purchase additional Devils Chase & Creepy Clown merchandise during online checkout, packet pick or post race on race day. (Cash/check/credit/venmo)

🏞️ Course:

The 666 and 333 courses pass a variety of Salem’s well-known landmarks including the Salem Common, the Custom House, Salem’s Derby Wharf, the House of Seven Gables, Winter Island and more.

Friday: October 17th, from 2-5 PM at the B&S Fitness Facility (GPS: 90 Leavitt St. Salem, MA)
Race Day: Saturday, October 18th at race site from 6:30-8AM (Salem Willows Soccer Field, GPS: 129 Fort Ave, Salem, MA)

Cash Prize: $150 to the Top Male & Female Devil (See mandatory costume details below)
Overall: Male/Female Finisher
Age Groups: Top 3 M/F in each age group: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Non-Binary: Top 3

👹 Devil Costume Prize Requirement:

Must include horns, pitchfork, and a cape or tail for the 1st place M/F Cash Prizes!

🥳 Post Race Festivities:

Notch Beer Company will be pouring 3-4 kinds of beer ($9/beer), Mimosas ($9/mimosa) provided by Salem Wine Imports, an assortment of food and drink will be available post race including apple cider, pumpkin bread and more. Local legend MC Mike Bernier will be on site keeping us entertained all morning!! We encourage you to visit Longboards Bar & Restaurant in downtown Salem post race to continue your celebrating!

🔄 Race Refunds & Event Cancellations:

We understand life happens and things may come up. We’ve implemented a defer and transfer policy for FREE up to a certain date for all B&S events. Refunds, transfers, or deferments made after said date will incur a small fee for administration purposes. In the case of event cancellation due to public safety, inclement weather or some other unforeseen power at be, the event will then become virtual.
