NAME OF EVENT
- Event: 47th Annual Great Wyoming Buffalo Stampede 10K/5K Run and 5K Competitive Walk
LOCATION & PARKING
- Venue: Wyoming Park is located on Third Street in Wyoming, DE (The park will be on your right).
- Parking: Please park along the railroad tracks and walk to the park. Race Note- Do not park at Mike & Mel’s Restaurant.
COURSE
- Type: 5K/10K, USTAF CERTIFIED course on mostly paved roads through orchards and scenic countryside.
- Water: Water will be provided before, during, and after the race.
RACE START TIME
- 10K Start Time: 8:00 am
- 5K Start Time: 8:00 am
- Line Up: Lead Runners for the 5k & 10k will be up front and all other participants will line up according to your pace. 5k walkers will line up in the back of the pack.
REGISTRATION
- Early Bird Price: Feb. 17th - June 30th...$35 for the 5K run and 5K competitive walk, $40 for the 10K run
- Pre-Registration Price: July 1st - July 17th...$40 for the 5K run and 5K competitive walk, $45 for the 10K run
- Race Day Price: July 18th...$45 for the 5k run and 5K competitive walk, $50 for the 10k run
WAYS TO REGISTER
- Online: Online Registration through RUNSIGNUP here at this site. The easiest and most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events.
- On-Site: Race Day/On-Site Registration beginning at 7 am in Wyoming Park at the Start/Finish area. Participants are encouraged to pre-register.
- Weather Policy: Rain or Shine and no refunds or deferrals.
PACKET PICK-UP
- Race Day Pickup: On race day, pick up bib and t-shirt at registration tables starting at 7:00am in Wyoming Park at the Start/Finish area.
- Early Pickup: If the Event has over 200 Pre-Registered we will consider an early pick-up on Friday...Registered Participants will be notified.

AWARDS
- For 10K & 5K Run Events: Our famous hand-carved buffalo awards go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male & female runners in 5-year age groups, starting at 9 & under through 80 & over.
- For 5K Competitive Walk: Our famous hand-carved buffalo awards go to the top 5 male & top 5 female finishers.
AWARD CELEBRATION & POST-RACE PARTY
- Results: Seashore Striders will have Result QR Codes to scan to verify your chip time and finish position. You can pick up your award at the post-race results celebration at Wyoming Park (Approximately 9:30am). Please do not ask for your awards early. All awards are final and will not be mailed to winners.
- Post-Race Party: The post-race party will take place this year at Wyoming Park. Music & light refreshments (Always a favorite the Peaches will be back).
- Complimentary Beer: As a bonus, Brown's Tavern will comp one free Beer to runners & walkers by showing your bib number following the race. Food will be available for purchase at Brown's Tavern. Please Note- No alcohol is allowed in Wyoming Park...Thank You!
RACE SWAG
- T-Shirt: Short Sleeve Tech T-Shirt and timing chip. Shirts are guaranteed for individuals registered by July 13, 2026. After July 13th it is "first come".
- T-Shirt Sizes: SM, MD, LG, XL, 2X
RACE TIMING
- Timing System: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using ChronoTrack B Chip Timing System.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
- No Bandits: We strongly discourage unofficial entrants (bandits) from competing in our race. Bandits consume scarce resources and can delay or inhibit accurate race results.
- Prohibitions: Unregistered runners, running with dogs and strollers, rollerblading, riding a bicycle, and the wearing of headphones are prohibited on the race course at any time, to ensure runner safety and to comply with liability insurance standards.
