Race History

• Tradition: This 54-year-old tradition of Webster, NY was started by Jim May, former English Teacher.
• Origin: Jim May started this event as a practice run for his Cross Country Team.
• Growth: The event has grown significantly over the years.
• Leadership: Dave Boutillier, a former runner, took over the race in the late 90s.

Participation Guidelines

Strollers, Dogs, & Headphones are NOT permitted on course!! Please note: You must have a bib to participate. It is bad form and considered banditting if you do not have a bib. Please just don't do it. It puts the entire event, its insurances, permits and other athletes at risk.

Your (in-person) Race Registration Includes

• Timing: Electronic RFID timing
• Gear: Choice of custom tote bag, hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt, or short sleeve t-shirt based on registration date
• Post-Race: Food for all participants
• Shuttle: Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service
• Results: Live Text and Email results as you finish
• Finisher Award: Medal and Digital Finisher Certificate

Your Virtual Race Registration Includes

• Gear: Choice of hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt, or short sleeve t-shirt based on registration date
• Finisher Medal: Provided for all virtual participants
• Shipping: Items mailed to US BASED addresses: register by November 8th for pre-Thanksgiving delivery
• Results: Online race results, Digital Finisher Certificate, and Digital Race Bib

Virtual Event Submission

Please complete your 2.5 or 4.4 miles and submit your results between 7am November 26 and 11:59pm November 29th.

Important Notes

There is no day-of registration. Please plan accordingly.

By registering for this event you are acknowledging that the date, time, location, and distance of the race may be changed, switched to virtual, or canceled at any time as deemed necessary by the Race Directors due to circumstances beyond their control. In the event that any of these scenarios happens, there will be no refunds, transfers, or deferrals allowed unless otherwise stated.
