DRC's Tal Morrison Half Marathon (13.1, 10K & 5K)

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 2025 DRC’s Tal Morrison Half Marathon!

🎉 Same Fun but a New 2025 Race Course!

The Dallas Running Club ("DRC" or "Club") was created in 1969 as a grassroots running club to build and support the Dallas running community. Tal Morrison was the founder and he started the Club by stopping runners he saw out on White Rock Lake and getting their contact information to invite them to join him for a run. The Dallas Running Club still remains a grassroots running club serving the Dallas running community for over 50 years. The Club offers four club races, of varying distances, and two half marathons a year. The half marathons help fund the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund. This is a scholarship that was created in honor of the Club’s founder who had a passion for health and fitness. The scholarships provide assistance to graduating students that have an active participation in their school’s cross-country running program.

While DRC’s races may be small but they are full of heart. DRC is a one hundred percent volunteer organization. The Club is a success because of those who choose to give of their time to the Dallas running community. We are happy you are here to join us for a race and hope you consider volunteering.

The race will take place at Winfrey Point. Race Time is 7:30 a.m. for the 13.1 and 7:35 a.m. for the 5K and 10K distances.

Discount for DRC Members: A discount will be applied at checkout.

Finishers: Finishers receive a finisher medal for the Tal Morrison Half Marathon.

📝 General Race Notes

• Awards: Placement Awards will not be mailed: you need to be in attendance to receive your award. Arrangements for pick-up at 2025 DRC events may be arranged. Age Group Awards are in 10-year increments.

• Registration: Includes a race participant shirt and finisher's medal.
• Race Day Packet Pick-up: Available from 6:00 a.m. to 7:20 a.m.
• Parking: To be shared.
• Dogs: Not permitted unless registered service animals.
• Strollers: Permitted, but please do not start at the front and stay to the right unless passing. Safety for all is DRC's primary concern.
• Refund Policy: There is a NO Refund Policy: you can transfer entry to a friend or consider the fee as a donation to DRC & The Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund.
• Registration: There is NO race day registration.
• Bag Check: There will be bag check available.
• Post-Race: Bring a chair or towel to hang out with your friends after the race.
• Race Shirt Exchange: Available after the start of the race at the packet pick-up tent, subject to size availability.
