• Proceeds: Proceeds go to benefit Friends of Janney Furnace and the Anniston Lions Local Sight Program.

Course

• Certification: USATF Certified, rolling course past historic Janney Furnace.
• Route: The course runs through downtown Ohatchee.

Start

• Time: Run starts at 8:00 AM.
• Location: In front of the Historic Janney Furnace at 145 Janney Road, Ohatchee, AL 36271.
• Ceremony: Award Ceremony to follow.

About Janney Furnace

• History: Janney Furnace was built by Alfred A. Janney in 1863 & 1864 to produce pig iron during the Civil War.
• Park: Janney Furnace Park is part of the Calhoun County Park System.
• Access: The park is open to the public daily from 8:00 am to dusk.

• Entry Fee: $25.00
• Race Day Registrations: $30.00
• Registration Time: Between 6:30 AM & 7:30 AM at Janney Furnace Museum.
• Pre-registration: Please pre-register by October 1 to guarantee a long sleeve tech shirt. After October 1, shirts available while supply lasts.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three male & female finishers will receive awards.
• Age Category Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 winners in each age category, male & female.

Results

• Timing: Results will be chip timed this year.
• Chips: Chips will be re-usable shoe chips.

Age Groups

• Categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
