About DPF

• Organization: “Dee” Pogue Foundation (DPF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a premier youth led/youth driven mentorship program.
• Success Rate: DPF has a 100% high school to college transition rate that ensures every high school student who completes the program enters college.
• Focus Area: Our organization focuses on S.T.E.M. education and is composed of young African American boys, ages 8-12.
• Mission: DPF’s mission is to develop adolescent boys into positive thinking young men through direct exposure and a 5-tier underpinning.

Event Details

• Event: 7TH ANNUAL DPF 5K RUN/WALK
• Date & Time: SATURDAY, JUNE 19TH 2027 @ 8:00AM CST
• Location: Zinn Park, 101 W. 14th Street, Anniston, Alabama.
• Purpose: A portion of the proceeds will assist deserving male high school seniors in Calhoun County, AL, in pursuing their college degrees.

Participant Information

• Race Day Registration: Must be completed online between midnight and 6:29 am. Manual registrations accepted at Check-In/Intake table starting at 6:30 am.
• Shirt Orders: The last day to order a race shirt is 5/31/2027. Orders must be completed prior to midnight to ensure availability.
• Check-In: 6:30 am - 7:45 am for packet pickup. Presenting registration QR Code speeds up Check-in.
• Race Start: The race begins promptly at 8:00 am.

Bib Placement

• Bib Placement: Bibs must be visible at all times and placed between the neck and waist of each participant for accurate monitoring throughout the event.

• Pre-Early Bird Registration: All Participants (Jun 21, 2026 - Jun 30, 2026) - $15
• Student Registration: 18 and under (Jul 1, 2026 - Jun 19, 2027) - $20
• Adult Early Bird Registration: (Jul 1, 2026 - Dec 31, 2026) - $20
• Adult Standard Registration: (Jan 1, 2027 - May 31, 2027) - $25
• Adult Late Registration: (Jun 1, 2027 - Jun 19, 2027) - $30
