On Saturday, May 18, 2024, Sound Community Services, Inc. will be hosting their 1st Annual 5K Run/Walk- “End the Stigma: Mental Health Awareness.”

• 1 in 5 adults: More than 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness.
• 1 in 5 youth: Over 1 in 5 youth (ages 13-18) have a seriously debilitating mental illness.
• Community Commitment: It is our commitment to the community to raise awareness in hopes of breaking down barriers in asking for help.
• Exercise Benefits: Studies have shown that regular exercise can significantly increase mental health stability and symptom improvement.
