Fourth annual 4 mile race hosted by the Mohegan Striders, this race runs through Groton, CT.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday, August 16th, 2026
• Time: 9:30 AM
• Registration and Check-In: Opens at 8 AM in the Sneekers Parking Lot (No parking for runners)
• Location: EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, 0.1 Miles west of 568 Poquonnock Rd, Groton, CT

Registration and T-Shirts

• First 200 Registered: Will receive a t-shirt! First come first served on sizes race day.
• Entry Fee: $100 for First Overall Male and Female.
• Awards: Gift Cards for top 3 male/female in various age divisions, plus top 3 Nonbinary.
• Awards Timing: Will take place at 10:30 AM

Awards and Discounts

• Top Performers: Awards are based on chip time.
• Sneekers Cafe: Will be open during and following awards! Drop in with a $1 off coupon from registration.
• Member Discount: MOHEGAN STRIDERS and WTAC MEMBERS registered with their clubs receive a discount if signing up prior to race day.
• Fees: The runsignup fee will be PAID BY THE RACE, so the price you see is the price you get!

• Dogs: Not permitted to run in the race.

Parking Instructions

Runners should park at the EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, which comes up on Google Maps. It is about 0.1 miles west of Sneekers Cafe (568 Poquonnock Rd, Groton, CT). PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT SNEEKERS, there will be large race parking signs at the EB Lot.

Directions

• Take: Exit 87 from I-95
• Then: Continue onto CT-349 S
• Next: Turn left onto Rainville Ave
• Finally: Turn right onto State Hwy 649/Poquonnock Rd, then right into EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex
