CFA 5K Run & Walk for Mental Health

Join Child & Family Agency (CFA) for our 5K Run & Walk for Mental Health in Groton on Saturday, October 31!

Dress in your favorite costume, bring your family and friends, and choose between a timed 5K run, an untimed 1.5-mile walk, or a children's fun run (6 and under). Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome!

After the race, stick around for costume contests for adults, children, and pets, plus food trucks, vendors, and family-friendly activities. Every registration helps support Child & Family Agency’s mental health programs for children and families throughout southeastern Connecticut.

Every child deserves access to the care they need. CFA provides mental health, medical, and other essential services to more than 10,000 children and families each year.

Funds raised through the CFA 5K will support children’s mental health programs and School-Based Health Centers, which bring medical and behavioral healthcare directly to children and families. In a recent year, 3,700 students made approximately 22,000 visits to CFA School-Based Health Centers, including more than 11,000 behavioral health visits.

The CFA 5K is for everyone. Families can walk together, kids can run their own race, and the whole community can enjoy a fun Halloween morning while supporting local children.
