Chasing the Sun Endurance Run

Event Overview

A multi loop trail run through the beautiful Robinson preserve in Bradenton Fl. This course is full of wildlife, scenery (Tampa bay, Sky Way bridge and Anna Maria) and promises to deliver. This is a fantastic event for any one local to the area and also an amazing destination race. We will be announcing sponsors, our Charity partner and partner hotels in the near future so keep an eye open. Follow us on Facebook and IG for all the need to knows.

Course Details

• Surface: Expect to run on pavement, sand and shell. A majority of the course is on sand and shell.
• Trail Shoes: Not required but suggested, as are gaiters.
• Hydration Requirement: ALL runners (except 4.35 1 loop) are required to start with a water bottle, belt, hand held or vest.
• Aid Stations: First aid station is at the 2 mile mark with water, Gatorade, soda and snacks.

Leave No Trace

This is a preserve so we kindly ask that all athletes leave it like you found it, carry your trash with you until you reach an aid station. We want this event to continue, so don’t leave gel packs or water bottles on the ground.

Participant Experience

• Course Design: Designed to be beginner friendly yet challenging for those who like to push their limits.
• Event Type: Great for anyone wanting to get into running trails, a Ragnar type event or using this as a warm up to a bigger race.
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts are an additional add-on to keep costs down as not everyone wants a shirt.
• Finisher Benefits: All finishers will receive a medal, snacks, post-race food, drinks, ice baths and massage if you want.

Awards and Celebration

Food trucks will also be on site. Awards for each event (TOP 3 male and female) along with larger finisher medals for marathon, 50k and All day athletes.
