The EXPO 10K/5K is more than a race: It's Knoxville's oldest and most beloved community running event. 2025 will mark the 48th running of this annual event. The expo is truly a tradition. It is the only local race that celebrates the family by having mother/son, mother/daughter, father/son, father/daughter, wife/husband, and three generations categories.
Course starts in front of Crafty Bastard on Central Avenue, turns right on Magnolia, turns left on Gay Street, turns left on Jackson, then right onto Central again. Then follow Central down to Neyland Drive to the turnaround and follow the same route back for an out-and-back course. Both courses follow the same route, the 10K simply goes further out Neyland. Layouts available for review 10k, 5k.
Participants must be able to finish the 10K in one hour and forty minutes after the last runner starts. 10K course closes at 9:15.
