Event Overview

The Apex Promoz Hispanic Heritage 5K returns for its second year, bigger, louder, and more vibrant than ever. Join us at Bell Tower Shops for a high energy celebration of culture, community, and fitness.

• Culture: Honor the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures.
• Inclusion: Everyone is invited to be part of the experience.
• Vibe: This is not your typical 5K: this is a PARTY.
• Participation: Run, walk, dance, or just come out for the vibes.

Race Experience

• Live DJ: Throughout the event to keep the energy high.
• MC: FitConSazonSWFL “The Dominican Hulk Hogan” bringing nonstop energy.
• Festival Vibes: Enjoy vibrant atmosphere all morning long.
• Themes: Participants are encouraged to wear Hispanic themed outfits and bring flags.

Represent Your Flag

• Choose a Country: Participants can choose to represent a country during registration.
• Bring Your Flags: Show your colors and pride.
• Show Your Pride: Let's see which country shows up the strongest.
• Community: Be a part of the celebration.

Couples Dance Competition

Immediately after the race, we turn the party up with our Latin Couples Dance Competition.

• Fun: This is all about FUN - no experience needed.
• Amateurs Welcome: Be wacky, be creative, be YOU.
• Prizes: Prize awarded to the winning couple.
• Eligibility: Both participants must be registered runners.

• 5K: Chip Timed Race
• 1 Mile: Fun Run Walk

Participant Swag

• T-Shirt: All participants receive an official race shirt.
• Medal: Custom finisher medal for all.

Awards

• Ceremony: Awards will follow the dance competition.
• Overall: Top 3 Male and Female based on Gun Time.
• Age Groups: Awards for age groups 0 to 10, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 plus.
• Top 3: Male and Female in each age group.

• Location: Fleet Feet Fort Myers
• Friday: September 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: September 19, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM

Race Day Schedule

• 8:00 AM: 5K Start
• 8:10 AM: 1 Mile Start
• 9:00 AM: Dance Competition
• 9:30 AM: Awards Ceremony
