Event Overview
- Description: Walk, Wiggle, Wag & RUN is the Cape Coral Animal Shelter’s premier family and pet friendly event! Together, we will raise vital funds to help the homeless, and neglected animals in our care and find them future loving and forever homes.
- Activities: The day will be filled with a Mutt Strutt around the Shelter property and a 5k Route around the neighborhood. Fabulous Event shirt and swag bag for registered participants!
- Participation: The Walk, Wiggle, Wag & RUN Event is both a Mutt Strutt and a 5K timed run. Create your pack and gather your sponsors to raise donations for CCAS!
- Awards: 5K Run event Award Placement Medals by age group and M/F category Human Runners. Specialty prize baskets for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for 5K Dog Runner Teams!
Registration Information
- Join Us: Register for one or both day’s events! Walk, Wiggle & Wag Mutt Strutt and the Annual 5K Rescue Run! Your participation will help make an incredible difference for hundreds of animals in our community and beyond!
- Pet Friendly: PET FRIENDLY EVENT! DOGS WELCOME!
- Leash Policy: STANDARD LEASHES ONLY - NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.
- Collar Policy: PRONGED/CHOKE CHAIN COLLARS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT.

- Shirt and Bib Distribution: Friday, March 19th, 2027 at Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991, from 11AM - 4:00pm.
- Event Day Registration: Event Day Registration / Check In Table at Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
- Note: No Shirt Guarantee after March 6th 2027 at 12 Noon.

- Runner 5K Start: 8am
- Runner Awards Presentation: 9:00am
- 1 Mile Fun Walk Start: 9:30am
