Race Details

• Course: 2 laps on the bike path around the lake equals a 5K, and 4 laps equals a 10K.
• Timing: Chip start time and total time will be recorded.
• Combined Event: Register for the 5K and 10K combined event, running the 5K first.
• Type: This event is for running only and no walking.

Fundraising Purpose

• Beneficiary: All proceeds support the Spring Lake High School boys' volleyball program.
• History: Boys' volleyball hasn't been sanctioned by the MHSAA until recently.
• Funding: The program is not school-funded and requires participants to pay for various expenses.
• Expenses: Includes individual, team, travel, supplies, and other significant costs.

Costume Contest and Awards

• Themes: Halloween-themed event where costumes are encouraged.
• Awards: Award for best costume, overall awards 3 deep for male and female.
• Age Group Awards: 3 deep in 5-year increments for male and female.
• Participant Shirt: Registered participants receive a long-sleeved "Dri-Fit" tech shirt.

Additional Information

• Photography: STELLAFLY will capture the event and individual photos, available free of charge.
• Pets: Dogs are not allowed on the course: running strollers are welcome starting from the back.
• Aid Station: One aid station located just beyond the Start/Finish line offering water and Gatorade.
• Snacks: Post-race snacks will be provided for participants and volunteers.
