Hope College Donut Run 5K 2026

Join us on October 17, 2026, at 313 Fairbanks Avenue, Holland, MI for a fun-filled run for donuts and for the kids! This special event is part of One Big Weekend (Homecoming + Family Weekend) at Hope College, with all proceeds benefiting Dance Marathon for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Race Day Schedule of Events

• 7:30-8:30 am: Packet Pick-Up/Late Registration (if not sold out)
• 8:30 am: Donut Hole .5K Fun Run Start
• 9:00 am: 5K Start
• 9:15 am: Post-Race Donuts and Beverages

• Friday, October 16: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Bultman Student Center (Hope Students, Staff, and Faculty)
• Friday, October 16: 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the One Big Weekend Hub in the Haworth Hotel | 225 College Ave
• Saturday, October 17: 7:30 - 8:30 am at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium | 313 Fairbanks Ave

Donut Run 5K Registration

• Hope College Students & Miracle Families: $30 (6/4 - 6/30)
• Hope Families/Alumni/Community: $35 (6/4 - 6/30)
• Pricing after October 2: Registrants after this date are NOT guaranteed a race shirt.
• Note: No refunds for this event. Rain or shine!

Donut Hole .5K Kids Fun Run

This event is FREE for kids 2-8 years old. This race is not timed and no age group awards will be given, although each child that participates will receive a little medal to show off! Kiddos will be divided into two age groups. Parents are welcome to help guide if needed.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Overall male and female winners will receive a special prize. *Based on gun time*
• Masters: Overall male and female masters (40+) will receive a special prize. *Based on gun time*
• Age Group Awards: Top two finishers in each age group will receive awards.
• Award Pick Up: Begins at 9:40 am. Awards must be claimed by the end of the event or by October 24 at the Student Life Office at Hope College.
