Bring your four-legged friend out for some exercise and support a great cause! Tara Sturgis Memorial Pints & Paws 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk takes place at Carl's Family YMCA in Milford, Michigan on Sunday morning, September 20, 2026.
Participant Perks
- Race Shirt: All race participants will receive a race shirt.
- Finisher Medal: Participants will also receive a finisher medal.
- Pint Glass: Custom co-branded pint glass for all participants.

Purpose of the Event
The Pints and Paws run/walk is a family-friendly & pet-friendly event that honors Tara (Tabbert) Sturgis’s memory with 100% of the proceeds to provide grants to animal welfare groups. The Tara Sturgis Memorial Fund supports programs and organizations that provide general welfare services, emergency and medical services, or foster and adoption services for animals.
Registration Information
- Pre-registration: Guarantee your race shirt by pre-registering before September 1, 2026.
- Availability: If you register after September 1, 2026 or on race day, shirts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
- Awards: 5K Awards to overall male and female and top place in all age groups.
- Double & 5K Awards: Awards to overall male and female.
