Race Details

• Annual Event: This is the 11th Annual Heels Up Race.
• Inclusivity: This event is for all ages with a Kids Fun Run and a 5K that you can run or walk.
• Charity Support: 100% of proceeds support The Hub Urban Ministries program Purchased: Not for Sale.
• Mission: They serve women and children who are victims of sex trafficking or leaving the sex industry.

How do we do it?

• Rescue: Providing access for survivors to get to safety and stability through outreaches, trafficking tips, and law enforcement partnerships.
• Relationships: Surrounding individuals with healthy relationships to support their healing and restoration journey.
• Resources: Offering food, clothes, education, medical care, counseling, and safe housing.
• Recovery: Programs that facilitate recovery from trauma and substance abuse.

Event Significance

• Purpose: This race honors all survivors of sex trafficking and advocates for those still victimized.
• Shoe Donation: Participants are encouraged to donate shoes on race day: doing so earns rewards and a chance to win prizes.

Registration Information

• 5K Registration Fees: $20 thru Sept 30, $25 Oct 1 – Oct 31, $30 Nov 1 – Jan 31, $35 Feb 1 – Mar 19, Race Day $40.
• Kids Fun Run Fee: $15 for ages 10 and under.
• Event Timing: Fun run begins at 8:00 am: all kids in the fun run will receive a Heels Up water bottle.
• Packet Pickup: Available March 18th, 11am-6pm: March 19th, 10am-5:30pm, at Run Wild: Saturday at race site.

Race Day Details

• Check-In: 7:00—8:15 AM behind Rhino South: register on race day but early registration is recommended.
• T-Shirts: Limited quantities available: guaranteed shirts for registrations by February 26th.
• Giveaway Prizes: $250 for first place overall winners, $100 for second place: trophies for age categories.
• Charity Note: Unclaimed race shirts will be redirected to volunteers: please plan accordingly.
