📍 Location

Katy Trail Ice House

The Ice House is an Austin style beer garden and restaurant, located in the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail. A fifty foot long bar boasts fifty beers on tap, ranging from Texas Domestics to Regional and International Imports on the draw. We have been awarded the best patio in Dallas with our open seating communal beer garden.

🏃 The Run

• Event Types: 5K and 1M Fun Run - will take place on the beautiful Katy Trail.
• Water Stops: Water stops will be available on the 5K course at mile 1 and mile 2.

🎉 The Swag

• Brunch Pass: All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for those over 21 years of age (must be 21 bring I.D.).
• Firecracker 5K T-shirt: T-shirts must be ordered ahead of time: late registrants may not receive the desired size.
• Finisher Medal: All finishers will receive a medal.

💻 Virtual Race

Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal via mail during the week after the race.

🎟️ Packet Pickup

EARLY PACKET PICKUP

• Day 1: July 2nd, 2pm-6pm.
• Day 2: July 3rd, 2pm-5pm, at Playtri Dallas, Hillside Village Shopping Center, 6465 E Mockingbird Ln #358, Dallas, TX 75214.
• RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: July 4, 2026, from 6:45am -7:45am at the race site Katy Trail Ice House, 3127 Routh St, Dallas, TX 75201.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 6:45am -7:45am: Late packet pickup.
• 7:50am: Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced.
• 8:00am: 5K starts (no late starts will be allowed).
• 9:00am: Awards Ceremony.
• 10:00am: Brunch Ends.

🛑 Course Notes

• Safety: The use of personal music devices during the race is strongly discouraged.
• Pets: No pets are allowed on the 5K: pets are welcome in the 1M fun event.
• Minimum Age: The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6: no minimum age for the 1 mile.

🅿️ Parking

There will be 70 VALET parking spots available at the venue: additional parking is available in other Icehouse parking lot streets by the venue.

🏆 Awards

5K awards include:

• Top Finisher Overall Male and Female.
• Top Finisher Masters & Grand Masters Male and Female.
• 3 Top Male and Female Finishers in Age Groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

1M fun run is not timed, no awards, just fun.

⏱️ Timing

The 5K is a chip timed event. Each participant will need to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. The 1M fun run will not be timed.
