🏛️ Hosting Venue

Katy Trail Ice House

• Location: In the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail.
• Features: A fifty-foot long bar with fifty beers on tap.
• Award: Best patio in Dallas with open seating communal beer garden.

🏃 The Run

• Event: 5K and 1M Fun Run on the beautiful Katy Trail.
• Water Stops: Available at mile 1 and mile 2 on the 5K course.

🎁 The Swag

• Brunch Pass: All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for those over 21 years of age.
• Firecracker 5K T-shirt: Register early to ensure size availability.
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a medal upon completion.

💻 Virtual Race

Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal via mail during the week after the race.

📦 Packet Pickup

EARLY PACKET PICKUP

• Day 1: Thursday, July 2nd, 2pm-6pm.
• Day 2: Friday, July 3rd, 2pm-5pm at Playtri Dallas, Hillside Village Shopping Center.

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP

• Date: July 4, 2026.
• Time: 6:45am - 7:45am at the race site Katy Trail Ice House.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 6:45am - 7:45am: Late packet pickup.
• 7:50am: Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced.
• 8:00am: 5K starts (no late starts).
• 8:05am: 1M fun run & Dog Walk starts.
• 8:30am: Brunch starts.
• 9:00am: Awards Ceremony.
• 10:00am: Brunch Ends.

🚦 Course Notes

The use of personal music devices during the race is strongly discouraged. Safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority.

Per USATF safety rules and insurance:

• No pets: Allowed on the 5K.
• Strollers: Allowed in the event.
• Age requirements: Minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6.
• Management rights: Race management reserves the right to change any event course at any time.

🅿️ Parking

There will be 70 VALET parking spots available at the venue. Other parking available in the Icehouse parking lot and streets by the venue.

🏆 Awards

5K awards for:

• Top Finisher: Overall Male and Female.
• Masters & Grand Masters: Male and Female.
• 3 Top Finishers: In each age group.

1M fun run is not timed, no awards, just fun.

⏱️ Timing

The 5K is a chip-timed event. Each participant must wear a timing chip to be counted in the results. The 1M fun run will not be timed.
