The Run
- Distances: 5K and 1M Fun Run
- Route: Beautiful Katy Trail
- Water Stops: Available at mile 1 and mile 2
The Swag
- Brunch Pass: All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for those over 21 (must bring I.D.)
- T-shirt: Firecracker 5K T-shirt (sizes may vary for late registrants)
- Finisher Medal: Awarded to all finishers
- Virtual Race: T-shirt and finisher medal mailed during the week after the race
Packet Pickup
- Early Packet Pickup:
- Day 1: Thursday, July 2nd, 3pm-6pm
- Day 2: Friday, July 3rd, 1pm-4pm at Playtri Dallas, Hillside Village Shopping Center, 6465 E Mockingbird Ln #358, Dallas, TX 75214.
- Race Day Packet Pickup: July 4, 2026, 6:45am - 7:45am at the race site

- 7:50am: Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced
- 8:00am: 5K starts
- 8:05am: 1M fun run & Dog Walk starts
- 8:30am: Brunch starts
- 9:00am: Awards Ceremony
- 10:00am: Brunch Ends
Course Notes
- Music: Use of personal music devices is discouraged for safety
- Safety: Respect race personnel and follow safety rules
- Pets: No pets allowed on the 5K: welcome in 1M fun event
- Age: Minimum age for 5K is 6: no minimum age for 1 mile
Parking
There will be 70 VALET parking spots available at the venue. Other parking is available in the other Icehouse parking lot streets by the venue.

- Top Finisher Overall Male and Female
- Top Finisher Masters & Grand Masters Male and Female
- 3 Top Male and Female Finishers in Age Groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Timing
- 5K: Chip timed event requiring a timing chip for results
- 1M Fun Run: Not timed
- Bib Placement: Must wear bib visibly on the front for timing
