🏁 Hosting Venue

Katy Trail Ice House

• Location: Located in the heart of uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail.
• Bar: A fifty foot long bar with fifty beers on tap.
• Seating: Best patio in Dallas with open seating communal beer garden.
• Style: Austin style beer garden and restaurant.

🏃‍♂️ The Run

• Distance: 5K and 1M Fun Run will take place on the beautiful Katy Trail.
• Water Stops: Available on the 5K course at mile 1 and mile 2.

🎁 The Swag

• Brunch Pass: All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for those over 21 years of age (must be 21 bring I.D.)
• Firecracker 5K T-shirt: T-shirts must be ordered ahead of time.
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a medal.
• Virtual Race: Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal via mail.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Packet Pickup: July 2nd, 2pm-6pm, and July 3rd, 2pm-5pm at Playtri Dallas.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: July 4, 2026, 6:45am -7:45am at the race site.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 6:45am -7:45am: Late packet pickup
• 7:50am: Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced.
• 8:00am: 5K starts (no late starts will be allowed)
• 8:05am: 1M fun run & Dog Walk starts

🏅 Awards

• 5K awards: Top Finisher Overall Male and Female.
• Age Group: Awards for 3 Top Male and Female Finishers in various age groups.
• Note: 1M fun run is not timed, no awards, just fun.

📝 Timing

• 5K: Chip timed event: each participant must wear a timing chip.
• 1M Fun Run: Will not be timed.
• Visibility: Please wear your bib visibly on the FRONT for timing purposes.
