Crazy Legs 10k+ Trail Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Date: 2026-06-07
• Location: Devil’s Backbone Open Space, 1725 Hidden Valley Drive, Loveland, CO
• Start Time: 7:00 am

🌦️ Trail Conditions

• Access Info: Trail conditions can be accessed through the website Devil’s Backbone Conditions.
• Mud Policy: If the trails are closed due to muddy conditions, all runners will be transferred to the next year as I am unable to reschedule due to not living in Colorado.
• Last Editions: The 2028 edition of the Crazy Legs 10k will be the last year of the event.
• Hat Selection: All runners will be able to select a hat with a random patch on it like last year.

🚰 Course Information

• Markings: The course will be marked by flour arrows.
• Water Stops: There will be a water stop near the 3-mile mark which you will hit twice, providing just water and Gatorade.
• Hydration: If you need more fluids, please carry a hydration pack.
• Aid Station: The aid station will be manned by volunteers from the Loveland High School Band.

🚗 Parking Information

• Carpool: Carpool if possible, as the parking lot gets filled up quickly.
• Pass Requirement: You NEED to purchase a pass for Devil’s Backbone Open Space or you will be ticketed.

🥇 Awards Ceremony

• Location: Awards ceremony will be held at Loveland Aleworks, 118 West 4th Street, Loveland, Colorado 80537.
• Time: Beginning at 10:15 am.

🕒 Race Timing

• Timing Method: We will be having our old school timing, where you will receive a stick upon finishing.
• Stick Purpose: This stick represents your overall placing in the race.
• Return Stick: Please turn this stick in ASAP.

🌍 Land Acknowledgment

The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
