Ho’ōla 5K

Ho’ōla-To Heal

On Sunday, June 13, 2027, we welcome runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels to unite at the Ho‘ōla 5K. This 3.1-mile race through Kalama Valley is professionally timed for competitive participants, while also allowing strollers in a family-friendly environment.

Purpose of the Race

• Community Connection: This race aims to foster connection and care within our local community by raising funds for the Hawai‘i Primary Care Association.
• Nonprofit Support: HPCA is a nonprofit organization that strengthens Hawai‘i’s primary care system by advocating for, expanding access to, and sustaining high-quality health care.
• Impact for All: For over 30 years, HPCA has supported community-driven health care that improves access for underserved populations in Hawai‘i.
• Donations: Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club will make a donation from the race income along with all donations made to the HPCA.

Awards and Recognition

• Awards: There will be awards for the overall top 3 female and male finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in 5 year age groups.
• Stroller Division: There will also be awards for the top three finishers in the stroller division. Only the runner pushing the stroller needs to register, not the child in the stroller.
• Event Timing: The Ho’ōla 5K will start at 7:00 a.m. The race start and finish will be at Kalama Valley Community Park.
• Refreshments: Following the race there will be refreshments at the park.

Race Details

• Tee Shirts: Race tee shirts will be available for purchase during registration.
• Packet Pickup: 6/12/26 TBD.
• Race Day Pickup: Race Day, 6/13/26, 6-6:45 am, Kalama Valley Community Park.
