LeaLea Charity Run 5K

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the LeaLea Charity Run 5K!

The LeaLea Charity Run 5K by HIS will return for the first time in six years!

The 10th LeaLea Charity Run will return for the first time in six years after the covid-19 pandemic! It is a fun running event that anyone who is 7 years and older can enter, with a simple course that goes around Ala Moana Beach Park. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers and the top three in 10-year age groups!

🎓 Special Registration Fees

• Reduced Fee: There is a special reduced registration fee for students (under age 21).
• Discount for Groups: A special discount rate will be applied to student groups of 10 or more!

🌊 Community Contributions

Every year this event has donated a portion of the proceeds to the local Hawaii community. This year we are excited to announce that we will be donating the entire entry fee to the Waikiki Aquarium!

Waikiki Aquarium has just begun construction to upgrade its popular Edge of the Reef exhibit to install a new water system. With this construction, the exhibit will be larger and more interactive, providing visitors with even more opportunities to experience Hawaii's magnificent and unique marine ecosystem.

🍽️ Post-Race Refreshments

When you finish, mouth-watering refreshments will be waiting for all the finishers! Enjoy the gorgeous views of Hawaii and local foods with your peer runners.

🗑️ Beach Clean-Up

After the race, there will also be a short beach clean-up at Alamoana Beach Park, providing participants from both within and outside of Hawaii an opportunity to Malama Hawaii and give back to the local community.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers and the top three in 10-year age groups, 10-70 years old!
• Luxurious Prizes: Luxurious prizes and medals will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. (e.g. A two-night stay at a hotel in Waikiki, Dinner for two at a restaurant in Waikiki)
• Age Group Prizes: Prizes and medals will be presented to the top three in 10-year age groups (10 to 70 years old, total of 42 award winners).
• Complimentary Gift: All registered runners will receive a special sports towel.

📅 Event Details

This event is happening at Ala Moana Beach Park on Sunday, October 12th.

The race starts at 7am and check-in begins at 6am.
