Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run is held in honor of Kaylan Haywood. She was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffused Intrusive Pontine Glioma) a brain tumor in the brain stem. She was an active, fun loving, caring 11 yr old full of life.

💖 Our Mission

Her wish was for our Ohana to be there for other Ohana's affected by DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer. So we founded Kaylan Strong's Fight Like A Warrior Foundation to help Ohana's here in Hawaii.

💰 Purpose of the Run

• Fundraising: Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run is here to raise money for these Ohana's to help financially through the hardest time in their life.
• Cure Research: Also to help raise funds to find a cure for DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer.

• Date: 2026-05-01
• Location: Kapapapuhi St. Ewa Beach, HI 96706, Ewa Beach, HI
• Sign Up Options:
  • For Oahu, HI participants on May 11th at Kapapapuhi Point Park in (West Lock) Ewa Beach at 9am.
  • Virtual Run: Participate anywhere around the world from May 1st thru 31st.
• Participation: We ask that you please send us photos of you and whoever joins you and where you are participating at.

🌍 Join the Fight

We would love to share how many people around the world are joining us in our fight to help Ohana's here in Hawaii with DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer and also help find a cure for DIPG.

If you are on The Big Island please sign up for Virtual (so we can send out shirt), but there will be a Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run option to participate in person at Old Airport in Kailua-Kona. More info to on that to follow.
