Event Overview
The 9th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2026.
Please join us for this 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk. Unable to join us on that day? Choose the option of running virtually.
Parking Information
- Location: There is plenty of parking on site at the Enfield Educational Annex.
- Address: 124 North Maple St, Enfield, CT.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30 AM: Registration/Packet Pick Up Opens.
- 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk and 2 Mile Walk Start.
- 10:00 AM: Post-Race Awards.
Awards
- Overall Winners: Overall top Male and Female 5K Finishers.
- Age Group Awards: The Top Three 5K Finishers in various age groups.
- Virtual Runner Award: Virtual runners will be eligible for the Farthest Participant Award.
- Team Awards: Categories include Largest Team, Fastest Team, Most Enthusiastic Team, Most Generous Team.
Virtual Race Options
- Virtual Runner Registration: Register as a Virtual Runner and run your own 5K at your convenience.
- T-Shirt Eligibility: Receive a race T-Shirt in the mail if registered by Midnight September 6th, 2026.
- Results Submission: Upload your own results between September 16th - 20th (instructions will be emailed).
- Results Categories: Virtual Results will appear in a separate category and are NOT eligible for Age Group Awards.
Registration
- Pre-Registration Fee: $25 (Until May 29th).
- Registration Fee: $30 (May 30th to September 6th).
- Late Registration Fee: $35 (September 7th to September 18th).
- Race Day Fee: $40 (T-Shirts guaranteed if registered by Sept. 6th, 2026).
Store Merchandise
Go to the Store to order additional Race T-Shirts ($15) or Outrun Addiction Hoodies ($40). Deadline to order merchandise is September 6th, 2026.
Course Certification
The 5K Course is USATF Certified. (Certification Code: CT23020JHP).
Race Proceeds
Race proceeds will benefit local addiction awareness groups: Today I Matter, The Alex Fisher Foundation, and TriCircle.
