2026 Terror Twilight Track Meet

Join us on Wednesday, July 29, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for an open to all ages and abilities TERROR TWILIGHT TRACK MEET presented by Appleton West High School. The event will be held at the Appleton West Track located behind Appleton West. Come down the street or from across the state!

Event Overview

• Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Location: Appleton West Track, 610 N. Badger Avenue, Appleton, WI
• Eligibility: Open to all ages and abilities, no previous association with Appleton West required
• Registration: Free registration to secure a limited edition bag tag

New Features

• New Events: 800 meters and Pole Vault are new this year
• Equipment: All pole vaulters must provide their own poles
• Registration: No same day registration for pole vaulters
• Encouragement: We want everyone to come and enjoy, regardless of speed

Event Logistics

• Parking: Available in West parking lots and on designated neighborhood streets
• Food and Water: Water available to fill bottles, Fox Pops for sale
• Seating: Bleacher seating available for attendees
• Weather Policy: Event is rain or shine: cancellation only for unsafe weather

Schedule of Events

• 4:15 - Pole Vault Pit Open for warm-ups
• 5:00 - Onsite Registration Opens (No same day registration for pole vault)
• 5:00 - Pole Vault Event Begins
• 6:00 - Shot Put, Long Jump, High Jump Events Begin
• 6:00 - 1600 m (2 heats based on goal pace)
• 6:30 - 800 m (2 heats based on goal pace)
• 6:50 - 100 m (anticipating teens and adults)
• 7:15 - 50 m kid’s race (multiple heats)
• 7:30 - 400 m Open
• 7:45 - 4 X 100 (practice hand-off race for the 4 X 400)
• 8:00 - 4 X 400 (may be split into smaller pieces)
