March For The Fallen - Satellite Event

Event Overview

• Organizer: Join the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and KRV Veterans Relief.
• Type: Satellite ruck to the 15th annual March for the Fallen event.
• Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026.
• Location: Cambridge Springs Readiness Center, 22992 Center St Ext, Cambridge Springs, PA.

Event Purpose

• Honoring Heroes: An event for the military and civilian communities to honor fallen service members.
• Route History: Celebrating the 1/112th lineage by following the route from the original 6th Street Armory in Erie, PA.
• Completion Time: Events will not be timed: participants have until 6:00 PM to complete the course.
• March Types: Participants can choose from 26- or 11.2-mile heavy/light marches and a 5k run/walk.

March Specifications

• Heavy March: Rucking with a pack weighing minimum 35lbs.
• Light March: Rucking with a pack weighing 10lbs.
• 5k Option: Family-friendly run/walk in historic downtown Cambridge Springs.
• Safety Note: Spectators must exercise caution as Route 97 is a public roadway open for traffic.

Route Details

• 26-Mile Route: From downtown Erie to the current home of the 1/112th Infantry Battalion in Cambridge Springs.
• 11.2-Mile Route: From Fort LeBeouf Historical Center and the Eagle Hotel in Waterford to Cambridge Springs.
• Transportation: Provided to the start site for both routes.
• Scenery: Challenging elevations along Route 97.

Participant Information

• Bibs: Provided at check-in, must be displayed on your back at all times.
• Removal Policy: Participants without proper event bibs will be removed from the courses.
• Return Policy: All bibs must be returned when finished.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, Sep 18 from 2:30-7:00 PM and day of event starting at 5:30 AM.

T-Shirt Information

• Purchase: T-shirts sold separately, must be ordered by Sunday, August 30 at 11:59 PM.
• Delivery: T-shirts can be picked up on the day of the event or delivered for a fee.
• Store Reopening: Will reopen on Sep 1, 2026 for t-shirt purchases for delivery only.
