Event Overview
We are looking forward to seeing YOU at the annual Furry Friends 5K. Join the race to help homeless pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s 13th Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk. What can you expect?
- Safe Experience: A safe, tail-wagging experience that is fun for everyone!
- Family-Friendly: This family- and dog-friendly event will take place at the Jefferson County Fair Park.
- Scenic Course: A beautiful flat scenic course that ensures first-time walkers and runners can comfortably participate.
- Open to All: Both serious runners and casual participants are welcome!

Friday at Humane Society of Jefferson County W6127 Rd Jefferson, WI
- 3-6pm: Packet Pick Up
Saturday at the Jefferson County Fair Park 503 N Jackson Ave, Jefferson, WI
- 8:00am: Packet pick up and Day-of Registration
- 8:50 am: Welcome and Thank You's
- 9:00 am: Start of Race
- 9:45 am: Awards
- 10:15 am: KidK obstacle race begins
- 10:30 am: Raffle Winners Drawn and Announced
About the KidK Obstacle Run/Walk
- Age Range: Geared for ages 1 to 6, but anyone can register to get in on the fun.
- Participation Medal: All participants will get a medal: there will not be an award ceremony for the KidK Run/Walk.
- Fun Activities: The obstacle course will have different activities for each participant to explore with color powder, hopscotch style obstacles, rail yard, and so much more.
Important Registration Information
Registration after April 11th does NOT guarantee you a shirt or medal. Be sure to register early!
