• Event: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Overview

• Type: Fast and flat half marathon along the scenic Galena River Trail
• Options: An 8K race option is also offered
• Medals: All finishers receive medals and shirts if registered by September 28th

Important Information

• Course Closure: The course will close at 11:00 AM due to Galena Halloween festivities
• Walkers: No walkers are allowed for the half marathon
• Finishing Time: Runners must finish before the course closes

Packet Pickup

• When: Friday, Oct 30th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Saturday morning 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM
• Location: Below the Highway 20 bridge in the Train Depot parking area
• Friends: Friends are allowed to pick up for another participant

Additional Assistance

• Gear Check: Available at the packet pickup table
• Labeling: Please have your gear bag labeled
• Hydration Stations: Available at miles 2, 3.5, 9, 11, 12

Course Details

• Half Marathon: Out and back course, turning around at the 5.50 mile marker
• Remaining Milage: Runners will head north on the trail for additional mileage
• Total Distance: Equivalent to 13.10 miles
• 8K Course: Out and back starting the same as the half marathon, with a turnaround at 2.50 miles
