🎉 Race Highlights

• Fast and Flat: This is a fast, flat half marathon along the scenic Galena River Trail.
• 8K Option: An 8K race option is also offered.
• Finisher Rewards: All finishers receive medals and a shirt if registered by September 30th!
• Course Closure: Due to Galena Halloween festivities, the course will close at 11:00 AM.

🎽 Packet Pickup

• Dates: Friday, Oct 24th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Saturday morning 7:00 am - 7:45 am.
• Location: Below the Highway 20 bridge in the Train Depot parking area.
• Representation: Friends are allowed to pick up for another participant.
• Gear Check: Available at the packet pickup table: please label your gear bag.

💧 Hydration and Fuel

• Hydration Stations: Water, Gatorade, and GU will be available at miles 2, 3.5, 9, 11, and 12.
• Course Type: Out and back course for both half marathon and 8K.
• Half Marathon Turnaround: Located at the 5.50 mile marker.
• 8K Turnaround: Marked at 2.50 miles.
