• Type: Fast, flat half marathon
• Scenery: Along the scenic Galena River Trail
• Options: 8K race option available

Finisher Rewards

• All Finishers: Receive medals and shirt
• Registration Deadline: Must register by September 28th

Important Information

• Course Closure: Course closes at 11:00 AM due to Galena Halloween festivities
• Walkers: Not allowed in the half marathon
• Finish Requirement: Runners must finish before the course closes

Packet Pickup

• Dates: Friday, October 30th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Saturday morning 7:00 am - 7:45 am
• Location: Below the Highway 20 bridge in the Train Depot parking area
• Pickup Policy: Friends may pick up for another participant

Racer Support

• Gear Check: Available at the packet pickup table, gear bags must be labeled
• Hydration Stations: Located at miles 2, 3.5, 9, 11, 12

Age Groups

• 19 and under
• 20-24
• 25-29
• 30-34

Course Route

• Half Marathon: Out and back course, south end of the trail, turnaround at 5.50 miles
• Additional Mileage: Short out and back on the north side for remaining distance
• 8K Course: Also an out and back, turnaround at 2.50 miles
• Distance: Half Marathon is 13.10 miles, 8K is 5.0 miles
