Race Overview
A scenic trek along the trails surrounding the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. Founded in 1965, the Schuylkill Center is one of the first urban environmental education centers in the country, with 365 acres of fields, forests, and streams in northwest Philadelphia. Participants will enjoy a beautiful course filled with mature tulip poplars, several ponds, oaks, beeches, and art installations.
Distance Options
- Choose Your Distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles.
- Completion Time: Complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal.
- Weighted Vest: Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights.
- Course Marking: The course will be extremely well marked.
Trek Day Information
- Date and Time: UltraTrax Schuylkill Trail kicks off at 7am on September 26, 2026.
- Starting Line: The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am.
- Event Type: It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course.
- Bib Pickup: Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. If you register after 9/5/26, bibs must be picked up in person.
Transportation
- Parking: A small amount of VIP parking is available onsite.
- Shuttle Service: Complimentary shuttles will run throughout the day to/from our offsite parking lot at 161 Washington Street, Conshohocken, PA, roughly a 10-15 minute drive from the start/finish line.
- Drop-off: You may also be dropped off at the start line.
- Finisher Perks: Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch.
