The Course
- Scenic Route: Run along the beautiful beaches of Milford featuring the Silver Sands State Park Boardwalk.
- Course Features: Closed roads at the start for safety, maintained by police and volunteers.
- Aid Stations: Available at miles 2.75, 4.75, 6.75, 8.75 & 10.75 stocked with Poland Spring Water & Gatorade Endurance.
- Restrooms: Available at Start/Finish and designated mile markers.
The Entrant Stuff
- T-Shirts: Men's and Women's cut Short Sleeve Tech T-Shirts for all entrants.
- Medals: Custom Finisher medals with two different Medal Options.
- Post-Race Snacks: Poland Spring Water, Gatorade Endurance, fresh bagels, and bananas.
- Awards: Custom awards for top 3 Men and Women overall and in each 5-year division.
Timing and Results
- Timing: Transponder Timing for gun time and net time.
- Results: Live streaming results, texted and emailed post-finish.
Cutoffs and Early Starts
- Time Cutoff: Half Marathon Time cutoff is 3:30.
- Early Start: For those running a 2:30 to 3:30 Half Marathon, there will be a 6:30am start.
- Note: Early starts only for those in the specified time range.
Race Series Streaker
- Challenge: Finish all 3 of our 2025 Half Marathons to earn a FREE custom Shoreline Sharks Race Series Streaker Hoodie.
- Events: Participating events include The Savin Rock Marathon, The Hamden Hills Half Marathon, and The Gulf Beach Half Marathon.

- 2011: Inaugural race launched.
- 2019: Half Marathon course was USATF certified.
- 2023: Race became the RRCA Half Marathon State Championship.
- Participation: Runners from all 50 States and numerous other countries.
Pricing Structure
- Early Bird: 10/18/2025 - 12/31/2025 at $75.
- Pre-Race: 1/1/2026 - 2/28/2026 at $80.
- Standard: 3/1/2026 - 9/9/2026 at $85.
- Race Day: $90, cash or checks only.
Transfer & Deferral Info
- Transfer: Available until 8/12/2026 for $25.
- Deferral: Entry can be deferred to 2027 until 8/12/2026 for $25.
- No Refunds: No exceptions to the refund policy.
Schedule
- Friday 9/11/2026: Bib and Shirt pickup from 3pm-6pm.
- Saturday 9/12/2026: Race Day schedule including early start at 6:30am.
- Final Finishers: Expected by 10:00am.
