Join Run Ohio Races for The Run For Your Life, a thrilling, interactive running event where survival is the ultimate goal! This isn’t just a race — it’s a test of speed, strategy, and nerves.

Mission Briefing

🧟:‍♂️ Run For Your Life: The Outbreak

• Location: Fairborn, OH
• Incident: Scientists have been working to create a cure for all diseases, but something has gone terribly wrong.
• Crisis: Evidence suggests that the cure has had unintended side effects, and our communication systems have gone dark.
• Your mission: Deliver an urgent message to the communications team to help finalize the cure.

Warning

• Infected Zones: There are reports of infected individuals along the route.
• Marked Areas: High-risk zones will be clearly marked on the course map.
• Caution: Stay alert, stay fast, and trust no one.
• Importance: The future of Fairborn depends on you.

How It Works

Participants can choose to register as either a Survivor or a Zombie:

Survivors

• Equipment: Survivors will run the course wearing a flag football belt.
• Route: Infected zones will be clearly marked.
• Objective: Avoid Zombies trying to grab your flags!
• Outcome: Reach the safe zone with all flags intact to survive.

Zombies

• Position: Zombies do not run the course and stay within designated infected zones.
• Goal: Capture flags from Survivors.
• Encouragement: Creative zombie costumes are highly encouraged!

Finisher Rewards

• Medal: All runners receive a finisher medal, whether you survive or get infected.
• Bragging Rights: Included!

Course Details

• Marked Zones: The course will feature clearly marked infected zones.
• Safety: Zombies are restricted to these zones to keep the event safe and enjoyable.
