5K Run/Walk
- Participants: Any age can take part in this 5K run/walk.
- Incentives: All registered participants receive post-race refreshments, a chance to win a prize, and a t-shirt (subject to availability).
- Registration: Pre-registration is highly encouraged by June 29 for guaranteed t-shirt size; online registration open until July 24 at 4:00 PM.
- Awards: Prizes for top male and female finishers in age groups under 10, 11-14, 15-19, and by decade beyond that.
Participant Details
- Free Entry: Participants aged 10 and under are free; registration provides an automatic discount.
- Logistics: Race begins at Truman Bus Service, with parking at the high school lot.
- Transportation: Participants will be bussed to the start line between 7:30 and 7:45 AM.
- Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:00 AM in the high school parking lot.

- Inclement Weather: Efforts to postpone until later in the morning will be made; cancellation means no refunds.

1 Mile Trail Fun Run
- New Event: A fun run aimed at all age groups, following the kids' triathlon on July 24.
- Course Conditions: Expect uneven terrain, including grass.
- Incentives: Registered participants receive post-race refreshments and t-shirts (if supplies allow).
- Participation Cost: Participants aged 10 and under can register for free, with discounts applied automatically.
Event Logistics
- Race Start: Begins and ends at the high school parking lot, marked cross country-style course.
- Packet Pickup: Starts at 5:00 PM at the high school parking lot; race begins at 6:00 PM.
- Weather Policy: Inclement weather may cause postponements; no refunds in case of cancellation.
Special Note
- Discounted Registration: Register for both the 5K and the 1 Mile Trail Fun Run at a discount.
- Shirts: Only one t-shirt will be provided per participant if entering both events.
