• Kids Dash: 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under). Includes a race tee, medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: For all ages and experience levels (untimed).
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip timed.
• Quarter Marathon: (6.55 miles) – Chip timed.
• Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Chip timed.

Event Schedule

5:30 AM – 6:40 AM – Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes before the race starts! Grab your bib, shirt, and any pre-ordered swag.

6:50 AM – Costume Contest: Strut your stuff as your favorite hero or villain before the race begins! Win a $25 gift card, free race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack!

6:55 AM – Kids Dash: Our little Yeti heroes take center stage! Meet at the start line, and we’ll walk participants to the Kids Dash area.

7:00 AM – National Anthem & Race Start: Time to hit the course and decide your destiny—Hero or Villain!

Post-Race Festivities

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only)

Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

Volunteer Then Run Schedule:
Arrive 1.5 hours early to help with packet pickup. Run the 5K. Help hand out awards post-race. Limited to first 5 sign-ups only (Does not include Full Race Volunteer benefits below).

Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role)

Perfect for those who want to help but not run this time.
Volunteers will not participate in the race and receive:

• Bigfoot race shirt
• VIP race access
• Choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon digital gift card

All volunteers check in at the Registration Tent 1.5 hours before start time.

Volunteer Roles & Ratings

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners! Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.
  Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!
  Rating: Fun and exciting — right in the action.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.
  Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.
• Turtle/Sweeper: Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.
  Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.
• Packet Pickup/Results: Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.
  Rating: Busy before start, fun and relaxed after. Set the tone for the day!
• Floater: Assist wherever needed — medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.
  Rating: Super easy and fun — in the middle of all the excitement.
• Lead Bike: Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.
  Rating: Active and enjoyable. You’re done once the lead runner finishes.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the Bigfoot suit, cheer, give high-fives, and take photos!
  Rating: The coolest and most fun position — you’re the star of the show!

Course & Experience

All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.
