Wolcottville Sign Project 5K Fun Run/Walk & 1 Mile Dash

Event Overview

Join us on Saturday, September 5th for the Wolcottville Sign Project 5K Fun Run/Walk & 1 Mile Dash!

This community event is raising funds for a new town entrance sign for Wolcottville - something our community can be proud of for years to come.

Race Details

• Events: 1 Mile Fun Run (Ages 13 & under) - $20
• 5K Run/Walk: $25
• Registration: Race day registration available. Prices increased by $5 on race day. Limited T-shirts available.
• Start Times: Kick-off at 9:00 AM for 1 Mile Fun Run, followed by 5K at 9:30 AM.

Course Information

Both the 1 Mile course is a tunnel of trees with bubbles and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Both races will begin at 2323 E 1150 N Wolcottville, Indiana.

The 5K will begin at 9:30 AM. It is a beautiful half mile tunnel of trees to Main Street, north to Cemetery St. West to a scenic cemetery with tunnels of trees. The course continues past town hall along Main St through historical Wolcottville, including Wolcott Yale, bed and breakfast, and railroad St., before returning to Main Street and finishing back through the tunnel of trees where we began.

Timing & Awards

• Timing: NEW THIS YEAR: BOTH RACES WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY TIMED!
• Participation Medal: All participants in the 1 Mile will receive a medal for participation. The top three winners will receive additional awards.
• 5K Awards: Awards will be given to the top finisher in the 5K.
• Community Support: All proceeds will go toward the Wolcottville Sign Project and continue community improvements. Thank you for supporting our town.

T-Shirt Orders

Shirts must be ordered by August 19th. Extras will be available while supplies last.
