Rise 'n Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk

Event Overview

Rise 'n Run is the latest addition to the Middlebury Fall Fest on Saturday, September 12! This is a fundraiser for the Adult & Teen Challenge USA, a Christ-centered Rehab facility helping with drug and alcohol recovery!

Race Information

• 5K Start Time: The 5K begins at 8:30 am and is a timed event, perfect for serious runners and walkers alike!
• Course Type: The out-and-back scenic course will showcase the bucolic Middlebury area.
• Course Experience: You will be running out past various farms and open space, protected from traffic with minimal traffic.
• Finish Line Treat: After finishing, enjoy Rise 'n Roll donuts for everyone!

1 Mile Walk

• Start Time: The 1 mile walk starts first at 8:00 am and is not timed!
• Who Can Join: Perfect for anyone wanting some exercise, including kids or families.
• Entry Fee Benefits: Your entry fee includes a t-shirt, timed entry (5K only), course support, and AG awards 3 deep in the 5K.
• Family Pricing: Special Family pricing available (2 adults and two or more children) to keep the event affordable for all!

Check-In and Parking

• Location: Start and Finish: 106 State Street, Middlebury
• Parking Details: Start and Finish on 103 State Street. State Street is closed that block for the race preparations.
• Alternative Parking: If those areas are full, there is plenty of street parking in adjoining neighborhoods.
• Volunteer Guidance: Please follow volunteer directions and/or signage in the morning.

Post-Race Activities

• Refreshments: Refreshments will be available after you return, while we wait for others to finish, and then hand out awards.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented to the top 3 Male and Female Runners, and the top 3 in 15 Age Groups in the 5K.
• Results: Times will be pushed to RunSignup as soon as possible.
• Festival Enjoyment: After the awards, enjoy the Middlebury Fall Festival's food booths, craft vendors, music, and more!

Important Notes

• Dogs Policy: Dogs are not allowed at the Middlebury Fall Festival.
• T-Shirt Availability: If you are able to select a size during registration, it means we still have shirts in your size available.
• Size Switching: If there is nothing in your size, please check in after the race, since there is often size switching!
