Planet Fitness Wichita OctoberFit Races 5K/10K

Event Overview

• Event Name: Planet Fitness Wichita's OctoberFit 5/10K
• Purpose: To give back to the community of Wichita through partnerships with the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas.
• Proceeds: Benefit the youth of BGCSCK and their outstanding programs.

Location

• Address: 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita.
• Directions: Located one mile west of the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr, at the workout park.
• Parking: Available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr and the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line.
• Course Info: Both 5K/10K race course maps are available: all races return to the Start/Finish line.

Date & Time

• Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2026.
• Arrival Time: Racers can begin to show up at 7:30 am.
• Trot of The Lil Pumpkins: 8:50 am
• 10K Race starts: 9:00 am
• 5K Race starts: 9:10 am

Costume Contest

• Time: Starts at 7:45 am to 8:45 am.
• Participation: Come dressed in your spookiest attire: open to individuals or couples only.
• Prize: Winning individual or couple will receive a $150 gift card.
• Judging: Participants must be at the judging area by 8:45 a.m.: winners announced after the race.

Race Inclusions

• Swag: All racers will receive an OctoberFit race t-shirt, a participation medal, and a goodie bag.

Packet Pickup

• Dates: Monday, October 20th, to Thursday, October 23rd.
• Location: Planet Fitness Normandie, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS, 67206.
• Morning Pickup: Packets will also be available for pickup on the morning of the race.

• 1st: $150 GC
• 2nd: $75 GC
• 3rd: $25 GC

• 1st: $150 GC
