Purpose of the Event

Join us for the Hope for Haiti 5K and Fun Run, a meaningful run and walk created to support the ongoing care and education of over 50 children at the Hope for Haiti orphanage.

• Every Step Counts: Each step you take helps provide essential resources including food, shelter, education, and daily care for these incredible students.
• Community Involvement: Come run with purpose, walk with heart, and be part of something bigger.
• Scenic Course: The race will take participants on a scenic course through Anastasia State Park and the surrounding community.
• Fun Atmosphere: Participants are encouraged to come dressed in festive or creative costumes to add to the fun atmosphere.

Race Course

This is a 5K run through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhood. The course is scenic and includes shaded roads under a natural hammock canopy.

• Course Description: The 5K begins at Anastasia Church and runs through the park, leading into one of St. Augustine’s picturesque neighborhoods.
• Finish Line: Participants finish down Old Beach Road back to the church.
• Walking Participation: Walkers are encouraged to participate, and strollers are allowed.
• Pet Policy: Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash.

Awards will be presented to top finishers in designated age categories.

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female, and Masters 1st Place Male and Female will be recognized.
• Age Categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, etc.

Packet Pick Up

You may register and/or pick up your race packet on Friday, October 30, from 4 - 6 PM or on October 31, from 6:45-7:45 AM at Anastasia Church.

Race Timing and Scoring

The race will be professionally timed and scored using disposable electronic tags attached to the bib number.

• Timing Method: Timed by Hasselmania Productions.
• Results: Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online.
