Imagine Mile Series

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

This is a series of three 1 mile races to be held at the track at Flagler-Palm Coast High School (FPC). The dates will be December 6th, 13th, and 20th. Races start at 8:30am.

👦👧 Participant Information

• Eligibility: Any child in 4th through 8th grade.
• Distance: Each runner will run 1 mile on the track (4 laps).
• Results: Although several grades may run together, results will be separated by grade level and gender.
• Awards: No individual race awards, but medals for finishing 2 of the 3 races.

🥇 Finisher and Series Awards

At the last race on December 20th, all runners who complete at least 2 of the 3 races will be given a finisher medal. We will also give out series awards for the top 3 runners in each grade level for both boys and girls.

🏆 Scoring Details

• Point System: In each race, the top 5 will be awarded points: 1st=10, 2nd=7, 3rd=5, 4th=3, and 5th=1.
• Series Calculation: At the last race, points will be tallied to determine the series placings.
• Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie, the winner of the last head to head race will be declared the winner.

📍 Event Location

The race will take place at 5500 State Route 100, Palm Coast, FL.
