• Past Success: Last 5 #5KTKD events raised over $25,000 for The Taekwondo Fund!
• 2026 Beneficiary: Excited to support Girls on the Run
• Event Structure: 5K run/walk and a children’s 1 mile run/walk
• Participation: Everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace, with timed events

Event Details

• Medals: Awards for all participants and special trophies for division winners
• Virtual Option: Ability to participate in a virtual format for those unable to attend in person
• Event Packages: Standard package includes a medal: deluxe option includes a medal and event shirt
• Children's 1 Mile Run: Designed for ages 4-12, competitive and timed

Course Information

• Kid’s 1 Mile Run: Challenging course with parental viewing and assistance available
• Staff Support: Staff stationed around the course for safety and assistance
• Course Rules:
  • Pass without pushing
  • Be aware of surroundings
  • Wear appropriate sports gear: sneakers only

• 8am - 9am: 5K run/walk Check In
• 9am: 5K begins
• 10:30am - 11:30am: Children’s 1 mile run/walk Check In
• 11:30am: Children’s 1 mile begins

About Girls on the Run

• Mission: Inspires 3rd-8th grade girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident
• Life Skills: Teaches skills like managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others, and making intentional decisions
• Culmination: Girls positively impact communities through a service project and complete a celebratory 5K
• Empowerment: Successfully crossing the finish line boosts confidence and inspires pursuit of other life goals
