- Event Structure: 5K run/walk and a children’s 1 mile run/walk
- Participation: Everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace, with timed events
Event Details
- Medals: Awards for all participants and special trophies for division winners
- Virtual Option: Ability to participate in a virtual format for those unable to attend in person
- Event Packages: Standard package includes a medal; deluxe option includes a medal and event shirt
- Children's 1 Mile Run: Designed for ages 4-12, competitive and timed
Course Information
- Kid’s 1 Mile Run: Challenging course with parental viewing and assistance available
- Staff Support: Staff stationed around the course for safety and assistance
- Course Rules:
- Pass without pushing
- Be aware of surroundings
- Wear appropriate sports gear; sneakers only

- 10:30am - 11:30am: Children’s 1 mile run/walk Check In
- 11:30am: Children’s 1 mile begins
About Girls on the Run
- Mission: Inspires 3rd-8th grade girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident
- Life Skills: Teaches skills like managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others, and making intentional decisions
- Culmination: Girls positively impact communities through a service project and complete a celebratory 5K
- Empowerment: Successfully crossing the finish line boosts confidence and inspires pursuit of other life goals
