Welcome to the Mountain Goat Trail Race! The event will be hosted at the Merck Forest and Farmland Center in Rupert, Vermont on September 19th. The Trail Race will begin at 8:30am from the Sap House taking you on a beautiful and challenging 8.5 mile loop through the trails and forest roads with approximately ~1,800ft of climbing. You'll bein from the Sap House cruising up to the ski trail, from here you'll continue climbing up to the summit of Mt Antone with a highfive from our great volunteers. Take in the view and get set to run your way down Masters Mtn Trail to the Hidden Valley Road junction. Continue east and past Clark Hollow and then up the forest road to the Glen. From here, you have a bit to go as you climb and then head downhill back down to the farm and finish at the Sap House. This race has 2 aid stations located at the Glen and the junction of Masters Mtn Trail and Hidden Valley Road. Both aid stations will have light snacks, fruit, and hydration (Skratch & water). Runners will need to have their bibs clearly visible pinned to their outfit. We look forward to seeing you out there! The kids run will be a fun ~0.75 mile loop surrounding the farm on the dirt road. Parents are welcome to run with kids!
