Course Description
- First Half: Enjoy runnable forested trails with gentle ups and downs, a small stream crossing, and a glacial esker traverse.
- Second Half: A grassy trail with long, slow inclines and descents, offering potential sun exposure during hot days.
- Nighttime: An opportunity for stargazing as you run back into the forest after approximately 3.5 miles.
- Finish: Complete your lap and return to the homestead with time to spare before the next lap.
Celebration of Achievements
- Distance Awards: Celebrate achievements for distances of 50K, 50 miles, 100K, and 100 miles.
- Winner: Only one woman can ultimately win as the Last WOMAN Standing.
- Community: Share a day, or more, with strong women who support each other.
- Encouragement: All participants are encouraged to give their best effort.
Race Logistics
- Warnings: There will be 3, 2 & 1 minute warnings before each lap starts.
- Ultra Fare: The race will provide typical ultra fare such as snacks, drinks, coffee, pizza, and sweet treats for night runners.
- Support Tents: Participants can set up support tents in the grassy yard at the start/finish line.
- Rules: Runners must start each lap with all necessary supplies and headlamps with spare batteries after dusk.
Post-Race Activities
- Post-Race Relaxation: After completing your journey, dip your legs in a cool pond for healing.
- Cheering: Pull out your lawn chair and support the remaining competitors.
- Community Spirit: Enjoy being part of a supportive and inspiring environment.
- Status: Participate in a race that emphasizes endurance and camaraderie.
