Hanover Firecracker Run/Walk

🎆 Event Overview

Join us on July 4th for the Hanover Firecracker 5 mile and 5k! The start for both races will be at 8 am.

👕 Tech Shirts & Awards

• Tech shirts: for age division awards!
• USATF Certified: 5 Mile run starting and finishing on Main Street in downtown Hanover.
• 5K Walk: is an out and back course.
• FREE kids run: Starts at 9:15 am, approximately 3/4 K, with awards to all kids ages 12 and younger.

💲 Pricing

• Special New Years Day pricing: $20 valid from 1/1 to 1/15.
• Pre-registration: $25 until July 3rd, no shirt option $20 until July 3rd.
• Race day pricing: $30 on race day.
• Shirt availability: Only 200 shirts to be printed, after they are gone, no shirt price applies.

• Well organized event: Fast efficient scoring.
• Awards ceremony: At 9:40 am.
• Post-race activities: Parade and fun family activities after the run!

📅 Packet Pickup & Registration

• Registration: Thursday, July 3rd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 104 Main St., Hanover.
• Race day packet pickup: July 4th from 6:30 am to 7:50 am at 104 Main St., Hanover.

🏆 Awards

Awards for Run & Walk, Overall, Masters (40+) & Senior Masters (60+) Male & Female.

Top 5 finishers in each age division, both male & female, run & walk.

RUN Divisions: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-17, 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34 , 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

WALK DIVISIONS: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

⏱️ Chip Timing

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and on this website.
